Dr. Mai Rostom

Consultant plastic, reconstructive and hand surgeon

Dr. Mai Rostom is a UK board certified consultant plastic, reconstructive
and hand surgeon. She completed her plastic surgery training in the United
Kingdom and has done multiple international fellowships in the fields of
aesthetic surgery, microsurgical reconstruction, and hand surgery.
She has spent time at the prestigious Ivo Pitanguy clinic in Brazil, the NYU
Langone medical center in New York, the Sydney hand hospital in Sydney and St
Vincent’s hospital in Sydney, Australia. She has trained with world renowned
experts in facial plastic surgery and microsurgical reconstruction of the breast.
She has also gained experience in a wide range of cosmetic procedures including
invasive and non-invasive techniques.
She holds a masters in reconstructive microsurgery and is both a member
and fellow of the royal college of surgeons, Edinburgh. She has also attained the
European diploma of hand surgery and is a member of the British association of
aesthetic and plastic surgeons (BAAPS) as well as the British society for surgery
of the hand (BSSH).
Dr Rostom works as a consultant plastic and hand surgeon in the NHS and
her practice is split between Egypt and the UK.
